Saturday... General Conference weekend

Coloring...not just for kids!

It was so fun to have my grandma down and most of my family. Everyone at one point or another showed up, except for my brother who was gone dirt biking.

Enjoying conference!

Flying kites! Taz is way high!

Handing over the reigns to the rightful owner.

Loving flying the kite!

Now poppy gets to fix the tragic event that always occurs when flying a kite.

Carissa flying her kite, she came up with this idea on her own...

and loving it!
Landon came up with this plan on his own. Amazing the ideas that come into their little minds.

Looking at the clouds for shapes!

Landon is so cool! He is funny and I love that he laid down and put his hands behind his head to look at the clouds.

The kids being silly!
Tie dying eggs. This was really neat! I didn't get any good pictures, you will have to look at my sisters Jenny's blog, she got really good ones! And we learned that this is not an activity for the little ones.
This is the activity for the little ones. She absolutely loved it! Writing secret messages and then having someone dip it and find out what it said. Daniel looking for his secret message.

Poppy finding our his message! Love the look on her face.

Being very careful to not get dye on their clothes.

What happens when you give Brian a camera and ask him to take a picture. . . Guess you need to be more specific and tell him what you want the picture of.

Grandma coloring her egg.

Carissa clipping the towel around Tony so he wont make a mess on his shirt while eating.

Ha ha ha

Shorty forced me to go to MORP. I finally told her that if she came over and we got caught up on math, then we could go ask, so I at least made her work to get me to go. :D haha
We figured out who we were going to ask and then realized we had no clue how to get to one of their houses. We tried contacting many people and using the phone book and mapquest AND the white pages online. You would not believe how many Petersons there are in this area!
Luckily we found some boys who were willing to ride with us to deliver the 'invitations' to morp.

Matt and Alyssa Partyin.

Slayton disgusted with the music and trying to get the i-pod with a smile. He stole the front seat from Alyssa when she got out to ask her date. I would have made him go too, but he is a gimp!

Alyssa being her true self ;)

We decided we owed the boys something for their help so we headed back to my house for ice cream!

Enjoying the food. Good times.

Thanks boys, but I think we are even now. :D

Happy Birthday Daniel. This is his sweet wife putting together the delicious cakes she made.
SURPRISE!!! He just got home form scouts, no idea we were all going to be over!

Sharon loving having him home and the fact that she succeeded with a surprise party.

Little Logan helping blow out LOTS of candles.

Heather enjoying the party.

Where is my cake and ice cream? Doesn't Braxton look like he is ready for some?

Everyone telling Daniel how amazing he is.

Couldn't fit everyone in the same picture. What a big party!

YCC Conference

The Fair Share board I had the honor of making.

Some of the YCC crowd

Some of my cheerleaders

This one makes me laugh!

I guess they didn't want to be at the conference.

We didn't want to judge the fair share boards

Excited for Jon Schmidt...I think

He plays so well, it is amazing!

Funny guy, I love how huge his facials are

He didn't have a mic so he had to lean across the piano to get close to the one picking up the sound from the piano.

Cute girls

Sorry Mad, I had to! Getting ready to go crash the boys room and party!

Right before we crashed their room.

Oh there we all are!

Skyler dancing away.

Not so sure about Skyler's dancing.

Arm wrestling I love the look on Maddy's face...BRING IT, you even trying yet?

Relaxing ha ha

Great workshop

Neli is too interested to take time for a picture

Our workshop, but just the game I was in charge of.

It was fun to see how differently each group did things.

Working on the challenge. I got the Bill of Rights

Others working on the challenge, they were making an elephant, evidently Skyler thought he was doing a good job.

Working on more challenge.

Thank goodness for government books!

I got feathered, at least there was no tar!

The elephant

Shorty hopped off the table and it wouldn't stand anymore!

Amazing artist. She came up with this and just did it. I wish I had that ability. Nicely done!

Finally an explanation!

Playing out in the snow!

What a beauty! I love this picture

My type of drinking! Go Kool-aid

After a three hour dance! It was so hot!!!

What a great conference, so much fun!!! I can't believe it was my last one. But at least now I can get some sleep. I don't think I would have survived another night.
