Opposite ends of the spectrum

I went outside and saw these beautiful flowers. I absolutely love hibiscus!

Then we headed to get the apartment ready to rent out since our last renters 'moved' out.

The smell when you opened the door was over powering and almost bad enough to make you gag! It was so horrible!!!!

The following pictures do no justice to how dirty the apartment really was!

The kitchen

Congratulation flowers for a baby that was born at least six months ago.

Some of the source of the raunchy smell. Their power got turned off and they never emptied out the fridge or freezer. After my mom cleaned out the food and junk she found that there was blood in the bottom from some sort of raw meat that leaked! (this is after cleaning it out. Filling a huge garbage bag) I couldn't even stand to be in the kitchen while the fridge was open. It was enough to make me puke.

Lets do dishes. They didn't have a dishwasher so either they cleaned them in this sink, threw them away or always went out to eat. I feel so bad for the little girl that lived here!

A look into the bedroom from the kitchen. The closets reek like cat! They aren't even supposed to have pets. We put an end to the cat but I guess they'd been hiding it a while. Not to mention the hamsters and fish.

How do you get a fan to gather that much dust?! So gross. Can you imagine a little girl crawling around on these floors?

How in the world can you live in something so messy?! There is so much dirt and junk! How can you stand it.

This style of living just boggles my mind!

We swept the floors getting the big junk up and some dirt piles clean up. Then we used the shop vac and this is what we got.

DISGUSTING!!!!

Then we used the normal vacuum and got this! And that isn't even all of it, we had emptied it already!

Poor little baby girl. I feel horrible for her. You couldn't tell in these pictures, but there is food ground into the carpets and splattered all over the walls. It is so dirty that the walls look clean, but really, they are extremely dirty. . . YUCK!!!!!
