After the funeral, enjoying one another's company.

It was such a beautiful day, just like Grandma always loved.
It is amazing how much family comes from two people.
Aren't we so photogenic! Enjoying the luncheon put on by my aunt Shauna's ward.

My mommy and me as the day comes to a close.
Some of the things I will always remember:
- Her emphasise to me on how important marriage is, not something to be put off.
- The importance of not procrastinating.
- Our intense conversations
- Her generosity, willingness to give to anyone less fortunate than her.
- Her love to sew. She sewed for her family and for many humanitarian projects.
- Her love for gardening, even when she was unable to get down and work in the garden she was planting her fake flowers all over the yard and house.
- How determined she was
- Her sweet tooth
- The funny comments she made
- Going to visit her at Country Lane. Especially the time we tried waking her up and she told us to leave her alone and my mom talked to her and she stuck her tongue out at us. It was so funny! Evidently it hadn't registered that we weren't one of the nurses trying to get her to do something. It was hilarious.
- Her love for a beautiful day and spending it outdoors.
- The enjoyment that shopping brought, because she was able to buy things to give to others.
- How important it is to plan early and not wait for the last minute to get things done/planned.
Although I will greatly miss my grandma she is now out of pain and at rest. She can see her wonderful husband after apx twelve years. She also got to go home to her mom, after apx eighty years, on the day we put aside to acknowledge our mothers. I love you and will see you again one day!
